Team Emmett Fundraiser

Many of you know that Emmett Stallings has been battling cancer since February of 2010. Not only has this been a difficult time physically for Emmett, the amount of expenses for the Stallings family has greatly increased during this time. Therefore, Janelle Rushin Photography will be hosting a two day fundraising event to help the Stallings family, and would love for you to consider being a part of it. Janelle Rushin Photography will be hosting family portrait sessions on Saturday, September 11th and Sunday, September 12th at Stone Mountain Park. Tickets to schedule a portrait session for your family are $100, which will include a portrait session, as well as an 11x14 portrait of your choice. Better yet, 95% of your donation will go directly back to Emmett and his family.

Tickets can be purchased by sending an email with your request to janellerushinphotography@yahoo.com. Once I have received your email, we will set up your photoshoot. Dates and times are on a first come, first serve basis.

Fix it Friday

I absolutley love this picture! It is so summery, and it makes me wonder what it is they are looking at! My main goal was to lighten, sharpen their eyes, and make the colors more vibrant. I also ended up using TRA's Super Fun Happy to give it a dreamy look. Enjoy!

Cherelle's Minishoot

Cherelle was my first Christmas in July winner! Here is a sneak peek at some of my favorite pictures from her minishoot at Atlantic Station.

Sweet Baby Nate

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to photograph Nate, who was just 3 weeks old. After a few minutes of tears and unsuccessful posing, we pulled out a fluffy white blanket. As soon as Nate laid down on the blanket, he fell fast asleep and we didn't hear another peep! Here are a few of my favorites from his photoshoot.
