Grayson {6 months}

Meet Grayson! You may remember him as this . . .

But he is all grown up now, and is almost 7 months old!  He is one of the happiest babies I have ever seen, and literally smiled and laughed for an hour straight! Thank you for being such a good little model. . . see you in about 3 months for some more pictures!

I Heart Faces Challenge - Let's Hear it for the Boys!

The picture I chose this week is simple with no frills, and nothing really extra special. However, it is one of my favorites. These are my nephews, getting ready for the smallest one's 3rd pirate birthday party. I just love the raw emotion, and can almost hear them laughing out loud every time I look at it!

These would be two - sided, and would be printed as a 5x7. A few of them have scalloped edges, and that is actually how they will be cut. Some of them have girl names on the sample, but it is just because they didn't change the name on the "boy version" of the announcement. Let me know if you like any of them. They are all blue, but the colors can be changed if you want them to be.

These are single sided.

I Heart Faces Challenge - Bright and Vivid

Ooohhhh Yay . . . I knew immediately which picture I would enter into this week's contest when I saw "Bright and Vivid." Although the flowers are brightly colored, it is her eyes that to me are bright and vivid! Can you believe these are the eyes of a ten year old? They tell so much, and yet are mysterious at the same time. Love!

Ansley {6 Days New}

Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph this precious angel. She has an amazing family who is totally in love with her, and you can see how much they adore her when you are with them. Thank you, Ansley, for allowing me to be your very first photographer!

From Sawdust to Stunning

One of my dad's greatest hobbies/talents is woodworking. Through the years he has made many different items for my family . . . everything from wall units to furniture pieces to photography props.

A few months ago, I found a desk that I loved, and asked if he could make one similar. He of course went right down to his workshop and started to make sawdust. It has been so much fun to check in on the progress every now and then, and have him excitedly explain to me how he was building it, what woods he was using, and how the drawer handles reminded him of me when he saw them at Home Depot.

So, I'm sure you can imagine my excitement today when he made his personal delivery. I was stunned, in awe, beyond belief at the finished product. It is more beautiful than I could have imagined, and is something I will cherish forever.

Now, the only thing left to do is to move in!

Daniel {11 days new}

Meet Daniel, my newest nephew! He was born to by brother Brent, sister in law Joy, niece Gracie, and dogs Millie & Rosie. He is such a sweet baby, and he was a pleasure to photograph. Here are a few of my favorites . . . from the hospital to 11 days later. Enjoy!
